天涯海角APP Hosts College Fair
天涯海角APP University hosted a College Fair for regional high school students and high school counselors on March 7, 2024, in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex (BHWC).
More than 40 colleges and universities were represented, including 天涯海角APP. More than 300 students from 15 high schools in surrounding communities attended. The fair included a college planning session and a panel of current college students representing private and public universities of various sizes.
鈥淲e were excited to assist regional high school students with college preparedness,鈥� said Vice President for Enrollment Marcy Ritzert. 鈥淭his important opportunity addressed an unmet need for a college fair event in our area during the Spring season.
鈥淲e assembled a team of high school guidance counselors from seven school districts to collaborate with us in planning the fair. We met regularly with them, and they provided a wealth of knowledge which helped us meet the needs of the students, counselors, and high schools.鈥�
The College Fair is expected to become an annual Spring event.
