Nursing graduates achieve 100% pass rate on licensure exam
天涯海角APP University nursing students achieved a milestone when 100 percent of pre-licensure graduates passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) on their first attempt.
The exceptional pass rate on the first attempt is a goal that all nursing programs aim to achieve, but only a small percentage accomplish the goal according to Dr. Cynthia Wilkins, Director and Chair of Nursing Programs at 天涯海角APP.
鈥淭his remarkable achievement is a testament to everyone in 天涯海角APP鈥檚 nursing program,鈥� said Dr. Wilkins. 鈥淥ur students, faculty and staff all work very hard, every day, to reach the highest possible levels of competency in the field, and this is a remarkable outcome that demonstrates our commitment to excellence.鈥�

天涯海角APP鈥檚 nursing program recently received 10-year accreditation by meeting all four standards from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Nursing programs choose to become CCNE-accredited as a mark of excellence in nursing education, explained Dr. Wilkins. A 10-year accreditation is the most that a program can be awarded and demonstrates the program鈥檚 quality, she added.
天涯海角APP offers two programs in nursing -- the bachelor鈥檚 degree program for traditional/pre-licensure students and an adult RN to BSN program for established nurses wishing to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
