Alistair Hattingh
-Provincial and national politics in Argentina
Dr. Hattingh teaches courses on Latin American, African, and World History. His classes include Race, Ethnicity, and Identity in the Americas, Cold War in the Americas, Latin American Film and History, and Modern Africa. He specializes in the history of Argentina, specifically the relationship between the federal government in Buenos Aires and the provinces. Dr. Hattingh saw a journal article and book chapter published in 2025: 鈥淎ll the World鈥檚 a Stage: Teaching Daniel Immerwahr鈥檚 How to Hide an Empire,鈥 with Dr. Karen Dunak. The History Teacher.
