PROGRAM OVERVIEW: MASTER OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (MOT)

天涯海角APP University鈥檚 Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program prepares students to become licensed occupational therapists through a flexible hybrid format that combines online coursework with weekend on-campus learning experiences. Designed for both Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) and individuals with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a related field, this two-year full-time program provides the advanced knowledge, clinical experience, and leadership skills needed to serve clients across diverse practice settings and to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT庐) exam.

MASTER OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: WHAT YOU'LL STUDY

天涯海角APP's occupational therapy master's program offers practical, hands-on learning for real-world clinical practice. Our occupational therapy courses focus on analysis of functional human movement and other underlying skills, occupation-based assessment and intervention planning to promote mental and physical well-being across the lifespan.

Other key areas addressed include assistive technology, leadership, program development, advocacy, and emerging practice settings. A continuum of research courses allows you to build evidence-based practice skills and complete a project examining current literature related to relevant practice problems.

MOT PROGRAM FIELDWORK

Our occupational therapy graduate program provides hands-on fieldwork experiences in inpatient healthcare settings, schools, adult and pediatric outpatient facilities, and community-based programs.
